They said it's never easy to be a leader..
How much more can I agree to it?
It's hard...
Very hard...
It reminds me of how it was like when I was still in Red Cross Youth.
You need to strive hard to prove to others that you can lead, especially when they are your peers.

I had a bad day at work today..
I am stressed by my HR manager..
And to have my colleague raising her voice at me, does not help at all..
Worse when my boyfriend kinda losing his patience on me, for asking him to send my handphone back to me..

I can only email Sock, pouring out my unhappiness to him..
Sock always gimme his listening ear...
Something, not many humans have...
I admire and thank God for his patience for me...
Really miss Sock...
BOO!!

Here some tips Sock had shared with me...
Hope these can help any of you if you are facing the same boo situation like me..

1)There are always different strokes for different people and at times we cannot please everyone, as long as we concentrate on the issues and not persons.

2)There must be reasons that things happened, hence find out the causes instead of the effects.

3)Always remember if there are issues, and not due to negative attitudes, as leader, we must be responsible,find out again the causes.

4)Respect is to be earned not reinforced, unless is matter of life and death, eg doctors in surgery...orders are to be obeyed diligently.

5)At times we make unpopular decisions...this is part and parcel of leadership.

I know it's long due...

Busy busy at work....
Many new things to learn...
Many new changes to make and adapt...
Many new politics going on...
Learning how to play the new game...

Learning new hobby now...
Yea, just started my first dancing class.
Okie, it's not because I can't dance...
Just that I wanna learn new ways of dancing...
Guess what...
Yea, exotic dance...
Woohooo!!!
I'm so gonna rule the dance floor next time I go club...
Yea, provided I got the time to go...

It's a new year..
2008...
I believe it's gonna be a good year for me...

Love has been wonderful...
He has been constantly surprising me...
Everyday I got to know more about him,
everyday I find myself falling more in love with him...
I'm really gald that the both of us share the same dream for our future...
And he actually wants to make me a taitai!!
Wahahaha!! That, I didn't expect it...
He is still as sweet as before...
And we both just wouldn't want this honeymoon feeling to fade off....
So for me, I will keep my thinking cap on every now and then, so I can surprise him with my little actions too!!

Done the whole house spring cleaning all by myself this year!!!
Alright, kiddo bro did help with some stuffs...
The price?
A happy clean dust free house and a super stuffed congested sinus!!
I rubbed my nose so hard that I injured it...
Had to go SGH A&E to have some X-ray done..
Thank God it's just a contusion..
Still I was called Rudolph for a day!

Surprisingly, this year I've collected alot of ang baos!!!

Miss Grandpa...
Today went over to Granny's for dinner...
I walked out to the hall, expecting to see my Grandpa!!
Yes!! I actually forgot that Grandpa is no longer physically with us!!!
I was still hoping to hug him tight & kiss him goodbye like I would always do!!
I really miss Grandpa!!
My tears are falling....
Sob...

Highlights for this Chinese new year...
I visited his Grandma & extended family in JB.
And I am proud to say, I have won over his two cousins' hearts!
Ha! Both his closest cousins warned him not to bully me!!
Wahahahaa!! just one night! He got a shock and kept asking what have I done to his cousins....
Oh yea, And unsuccessful attempts of buying firecrackers for me...
Boo!! Next year! I must have my firecrackers!!!!

Tomorrow is Valentine Day!!!
I seriously can't remember when was the last time I celebrated Valentine Day with someone special...
Now, I really dunno what to do on Valentine Day... Totally clueless!!
